  • May non-Catholic students attend The School of Two Hearts?

    • Our school is an independent K – 12 school in the Roman Catholic tradition.  We welcome students of all faiths however, all students are required to attend daily Mass and take Theology at each grade level.  The School of Two Hearts admits students of any race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities, generally accorded or made available to students at the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs and athletic and other school-administered programs.

  • May students with special needs attend The School of Two Hearts?

    • Although we will be implementing best education practices, including differentiated instruction, multi-grade and looped classrooms, we may not be able to meet the educational needs of students who have severe cognitive and learning challenges. In some cases, we may admit the students; however, we will discuss with the parents (and the student, when determined to be appropriate) our concerns.  Some students will be eligible to receive special education services from the Kenmore-Tonawanda School District; we will work collaboratively with the district, the parents, our teachers and staff and the student to ensure the best educational experience possible. We will always keep the educational, emotional and spiritual needs of the student to be our first priority, even if that may result in the student attending elsewhere.
